Taken in the second round of the 2021 NHL entry draft, the Pittsburgh Penguins organization stayed patient with the development of Tristan Broz, and the center appears to finally be living up to expectations. Broz won a National Championship with Denver in 2024–finishing fourth on the team with 40 points in 43 games–before joining the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins last season and finished sixth on the team with 19 goals in 59 games. Broz looks to move into a top role in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in 2025-26 and potentially on the cusp of a look at the NHL level.
