Daniel Laatsch Records Two Points With Wheeling Nailers In Solid Rookie Season
Daniel Laatsch scored for the second time in a rookie season at the professional level, giving the Wheeling Nailers a 3-1 lead in a 7-2 win over the Kalamazoo Wings on Friday and added a primary helper in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Fort Wayne Komets on Sunday. The 2021 seventh round pick played for four seasons with the Wisconsin Badgers in the NCAA before turning professional, recording 26 points in 126 games. Laatsch boasts nine points in 18 games with the Nailers in the ECHL in 2025-26 along with three points in 10 games with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
