Slightly undersized but a willingness to go to the dirty areas, Tanner Howe suffered a shoulder injury at the start of the 2024-25 season and a knee injury requiring surgery in the postseason, calling into question the durability of the 2024 second round pick. When healthy, Howe managed 39 points in 37 games with the Calgary Hitmen and added nine points in seven postseason games. Additionally, Howe represented Canada at the 2025 World Junior Championship, scoring a goal in five games. Howe hopes to find some consistency and adjust to the professional level with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton upon returning from injury later in the 2025-26 season.
